This website is a private, personal campaign maintained by the Durand family to help find a living liver donor for Pierre Durand.

This site is not an official Northwestern Medicine website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or reviewed by Northwestern Medicine, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, or Northwestern University. References to Northwestern Medicine, the CLEAR program, the RAPID technique, and named physicians are made because Pierre is a patient in that program. All trademarks, program names, and likenesses belong to their respective owners.

Visitor analytics are used only by the Durand family to understand which channels and stories are reaching potential donors. We do not sell, rent, or share this data with advertisers.

Donor questionnaire responses are stored securely and are shared with the Northwestern Memorial Hospital living donor team so they can follow up with you about a potential evaluation. Submitting the questionnaire is not a commitment to donate, and a medical evaluation only happens if you choose to move forward with Northwestern.

We store a small anonymous session identifier in your browser's local storage so that if you close the site partway through the questionnaire, your answers can be restored on the same device. We do not use advertising cookies.

This site embeds a YouTube video from Northwestern Medicine's channel. When you play the video, YouTube may set its own cookies according to Google's privacy policy.

Donor questionnaire submissions are stored in a private, access-controlled database and are visible only to the family administrator of this site, Lukas Durand (lukas.durand@mail.com), who forwards them to the Northwestern Memorial Hospital living donor team.

We retain submissions for up to 12 months after Pierre's transplant search concludes, after which all records are permanently deleted. Anonymous visitor analytics (page views, approximate location, referring source) are retained for up to 12 months and then deleted.

You may request deletion of your submission at any time by emailing lukas.durand@mail.com. We will remove your record within 7 days and confirm by reply.
